I intended to get a job teaching at an elementary school, but I never did. I had Russell at the beginning of my college career.... and when I graduated from college I was 8 months pregnant with Garrick. Yes.... made student teaching MISERABLE! ha! But, my boys were so adorable I didn't want to let go of them to get a job. I opened up a preschool for a while in an attempt to keep my boys with me and still 'teach".... but, I discovered that toddlers give me hives.  If I were to teach now, I would get certified to work with high school age. I LOVE working with teens. :D I was able to use church as an outlet for my teaching skills... I taught many Sunday school and Wednesday night classes.... even a few for adults.

I do love teaching... and I find that it's something you can use in daily life -- not just in the workforce. :)

....and before Richard blabs about it.... YES... it did take me about six years to get my four year degree .... I was out there EVERY semester, I just couldn't always take a full load of classes due to having the hubby and baby at home. ;)
