Hi everyone, My name is Ardith and I'm excited to meet all of you, I have a LOT to learn that's for sure. My husband and I are getting our new puppy in a few more weeks, he's not ready to leave mommy yet.

We have chosen a Brindle male pup. The momma delivered 9 but 3 died during birth and she smothered 3 by accident Sad. I had my hopes set on an Apricot, but after looking at the pictures some of you have posted I'm kind of glad we are going with a brindle.
I'm sure you're going to be seeing me posting in other forums as I have tons of questions and I'm confident I came to the right place.
Thank you, Ardith Very Happy

Welcome. Just so you know... a brindle was not our first choice either but I can't imagine it any other way. don't let the rumor about the "crazy brindle gene" scare you. Our boy is really mellow(most of the time).

Hello all! Kimberly and I are proud to introduce our new "baby boy", Fedor. He was born on April 26, 2010 and has already brought so much fun and happiness to our family. His name means: "the gift of God" and he is truly a blessing to our whole family with his unbelievable demeanor and his perfectly beautiful face. We hope to post pics and videos soon! I also want to send out a quick THANK YOU to Bill for the amazing research that he provides!

Philip and Kimberly

Hi Phillip and Kimberly,

I'm new here too, I haven't posted much, but I've learned a LOT here Smile.
Fedor is a cutie, congrats. We are very impatiently waiting 1 more week before we can pick up our baby. Still haven't named him, we're waiting to see his personality a little first.

So, welcome and jump right in with all paws, everyone here is very helpful.

Hi, everyone, I'm Erica! I feel a bit out of place at the moment, because we don't own any actual mastiffs, lol. I was recommended to this site via a question I asked on Yahoo about puppy food. I came here to learn, as I would like to get a mastiff in the future. I know a little about them, but I don't feel that we know nearly enough yet to actually get one, if that makes any sense. Plus, we have 3 kids under the age of 5, and 2 dogs that are still puppies themselves, lol!

Right now we have Diva, a 9 month old pit bull/lab mix, possibly with some chow in there somewhere, she's a handful in herself, lol. We also have Gibbs, who is a 4 month old American Bulldog, possibly mixed with boxer. I also have 3 two-legged babies, Damien (4 years), Jayden (2 years), and Corbin (1 year). All boys, in every way, lol! I definitely have my hands full at the moment =P

I hope to learn as much as possible about the mastiff breeds, as I said, we're interested in getting one in the future, and I can't wait! I'd post pics of the dogs, but I don't have any yet on this computer!
