Thanks for the info. Living in Louisiana, I don't think we've been outside since the end of May!

I have to bump this. This year has been extreme heat conditions. Our puppies father passed away at 3 yrs old last week from a blot clot in his lung from heat stroke. Mastiffs can't handle the heat. This is a picture of Urban Sohos Jamal- May he R. I. P. May this be a reminder of how fast our loved ones can be taken away from heat stroke

Ok I thought I would share this with you guys. Its called coolmedics and they make like the gel neck coolers (except theirs aren't gel) anyway my mom has got one and her horse loves their cooling horse blanket. They've got cooling dog coats and dog blankets. If their largest size (back up to 39, chest up to 42, neck up to 28 inches) doesn't fit your dog they can custom make one. They cool for about 4.5 hrs and reduce their temp by 20-25 degrees. They work well and in this heat could save a dogs life.
Here's the site: https://www.coolmedics.com/categories.php?category=Canine-Cooling-Products-
Oh and they also make horse and people stuff. Hehe no I don't work for them but my mom's horse colicked because of the heat so we got him one and he loves it. 105 and he's the only horse not sweating!

NV although freakishly cool this summer, is still way too hot to ever leave your babies in the car. Just sitting at a stop light for too long I can feel the heat rising in the truck, I could not imagine leaving the kids (boys or girls) in the car for more than a minute. Which is just enough time to turn the engine off, open and close the door.
Do not do it. That quick stop is not worth the years of torment you will go through if something happened.
