DOTM Interview By: Beauregard (logdog)
Phone rings:
Zig: Yo!
Beau: Hi guys and gals, this is Beauregard calling to interview you for DOTM.
Zig: 'sup dude.
Sadie: Heya Beau.
Rosie: ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. What's? What's happening?
Beau: Sadie, how do you keep your sanity with The Zig and little hurricane Rosie trying to drive you nuts?
Sadie: Well. At first the piglet was kinda a blessing, because she and 'long, tall and brainless' kind of canceled each other out. Usually, when they get too rowdy, I go sit in Mom's lap so she knows they are driving me crazy. Mom's is pretty good about taking me for a walk by myself sometimes, too, just to get away from the chaos. All in all, I love my sibs, because before Mom adopted me, I didn't have anyone and my life was very not fun, but now, I have a big riotous family. And that's worth a bit of patience on my part.
Zig: Wait, what'd you call me? I think that (*glances out the window)..... wait....was that a...... nope. Where was I?
Beau: Zig, how do you like being the man of the house?
Zig: Well, somedays it's like bein adrift in the estrogen ocean, y'know dude? but ma lets me go to my uncle's house for time in the man cave (away from the bratty girls) and, of course, I get some solo time with mom when I take her running in the evenings. All in all, it's not such.....wait........ SQUIRREL............*runs out of the room at top speed*...................
Sadie: sorry 'bout that Beau, he's cute and all, but he's all hound in the brain department.
Rosie: *busily shredding a couch pillow the whole time*
Beau: Rosie, I have seen video of you doing the "Rosie Rumble" on the snow. You're a real hot dogger!
Rosie: I LOVES hot dogses! How'd you knows?
Sadie: um, princess, he is complimentin your snow skills.
Rosie: Oooh. Well, I LOVES snowses, too! I get hots easy, so when mom takes us up to the snows, I likes to rub my wholes body ins it. I can go real fasts now slidins down the hillses an moms says mebbe next winters I can goes skee in, too! Not sures what that is, but if its in the snowses, it must be awesome!
Beau: What is your favorite outing that Kat takes you on?
Zig: ALL of 'Em.
Sadie: I like the beach an the lake the best, because it's not as hot and I get to swim.
Rosie: Ima say the snows is my favoritest so far, but I haven' been everywheres yet.
Beau: Do you have any favorite games you like to play?
Sadie: I like to play 'Is that nums for me?' whenever anyone within a 2 block radius has food on them. I also enjoy our morning wrestlemania sessions where the 3 of us dogs see who is best at sitting on each others heads. We usually let the pup win.
Rosie: I no understand the questin. Isn't all day, everydays playtime?
Zig: I like 'chase me' a whole lot. First you find some totally gullible human who is like, smiling at you an sayin how cute you are and all. Next you wander over with like, a totally dopey grin on your face (make sure you work that tail wag, yo). Then, when the poor sap is scratching your back end, delicately pick their pockets. When you've got a good grip on a wallet or key ring, dart away a few yards, then turn and make eye contact. This is the important part. Continue tail wagging at a furious rate and hop up and down a little so they know it's a game. You have to go a bit overboard ('cause y'all know how slow humans can be), but if you did it right.... a most excellent result occurs. I think my record is like 9 humans chasing me at once, it's awesome when they form packs to try and corner you. This game is also great at the beach where lots of people just leave their stuff lying on the sand for any dog to pick up. Once I even got a free roast beef sandwich that way.
Beau: What are your favorite treats and what do you have to do to get them?
Sadie: I like just about anything that fits in my mouth. Buffalo steaks are pretty high up there on the list of 'died and went to heaven', though.
Zig: meh. Food is alright, I'd rather mom just take me wherever she goes. Momtime is my treat of choice.
Rosie: Ummm. Zig: Chill, kid, he hasn't got all day, y'know?
Beau: Rosie, I hear that you like to remodel furniture.
Rosie: Well, I just likes to chews on stuff an woods is my favorites an I don't think moms knew there was woods in the couch, so I showed her. There was A LOT of woods in the couch an it was super chewy.
Sadie: I tried to tell her, but you know how little kids are......
Zig: I jumped the baby gates and hid in moms bed so she'd know it wasn't me.
